1. SCOPE AND CONTROLLER

Jolly Vehicle Operations Ltd (“we,” “us,” or “the Company”) is the data controller for all personal data collected across our network. This policy applies to jollycouriers.co.uk and all associated domains listed in Schedule A.

2. DATA WE COLLECT

  • Booking Data: Name, email, phone, collection/delivery addresses, and item descriptions.
  • B2B Account Data: Company billing details and authorized personnel contact info.
  • Technical Data: IP addresses, browser types, and session behavior (via HubSpot and Microsoft Clarity).
  • Communication: Live chat transcripts and email correspondence.

3. HOW WE USE AND SHARE YOUR DATA

We process data to fulfill contracts (deliveries), process payments via Stripe, and improve our services. We share data only with essential partners:

  • Operations: Shipday (dispatch/tracking) and our fleet of Self-Employed Drivers (limited to delivery details only).
  • Communications: Resend (transactional emails) and HubSpot (CRM/Live Chat).
  • Marketing & Analytics: Google Analytics/Ads, Microsoft Clarity/Advertising, Meta Pixel, and LinkedIn Insight Tag. We do not sell your data to third parties.

4. COOKIES AND TRACKING

Each domain in our network utilizes cookies for functionality, analytics, and tailored advertising. While the policy is centralized, users must manage consent via the specific cookie banner on the domain they are currently visiting.

5. DATA RETENTION & SECURITY

  • Financial/Booking Records: 7 years.
  • Live Chat/Marketing Consent: 2–3 years.
  • Security: We utilize HTTPS encryption, secure access controls, and PCI-compliant processing via Stripe.

6. YOUR RIGHTS

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or erase your data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact gdpr@jollycouriers.co.uk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the ICO.
